A Little Bit About Me
So I embark on this journey to find my best friend,
The one who will stand by me until the very end.
That someone special who will capture my heart,
A true gentleman who will play his part.
Someone who will make me smile,
A man whose got some kind of style.
Life's too short to scream and shout,
There's so much more to life, without a doubt.
So I embark on this journey to find my soulmate
Although I believe it's much down to fate...........
So here I am giving this a go and let's see where it takes me!!!!!
To be honest I dont think you really know what someone is like until you speak to them and really get to know them.
So to sum it up i'm known as 'superwoman'.......... yes that's right as I wear the skirt and the trousers, run a household, go to work, I cook, I clean, am a full time mum and I do the DIY ( that's not saying i'm very good at it but thanks to uncle google I can do a bit of plumbing, electrics and general DIY). I must admit I do enjoy it :)
I am fortunate enough to have travelled to numerous destinations and continue to do so. I enjoy experiencing different cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds. I like engaging in discussions and having intellectual conversations about current affairs. I'd say I'm a big kid at heart and still have enough stamina left in me to engage in fun activities. I enjoy fine dining, going to the theatre/cinema, ice skating, bowling and can be spontaneous in doing things lastminute.com.
Friends and family would say I am always smiling, approachable, easy to talk to/get on with, honest and fair, a good cook, non judgemental and genuine. I also think that whilst I pray 5 times a day, recite Quran regularly, fast etc I have a good balance between Islamic and western values and practices. I don't think anyone is perfect and better than anyone else and there is always room for developing and improving ourselves.
I'm an independent well educated individual who thrives hard to achieve well in all aspects of my life. I have a gentle nature and am extremely patient and put my trust and faith in Allah swt to bring my way the goodness this life has to offer.
I believe that a relationship or marriage can be beautiful if the two people involved cherish each other (that means put each other first) and work together as a team and communicate. I don't engage or associate myself with people who are confrontational, argumentative and have an ego.
I live my life by treating people the way they treat me......... It's a big lesson in life that I've learnt and now adhere to.
I am content with my life and Alhumdulillah count my blessings, however, it can at times feel lonely not having that special person to snuggle up to :)
